PYONGYANG, (ST)- Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Moallem on Friday started an official visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the invitation of his Korean counterpart Ri Yong-ho.
Al-Moallem is due to hold talks with senior Korean officials on bilateral relations and means to boost ties in all domains.
Talks will also deal with developments in the Middle East and East Asia in addition to issues of common interest at the regional and international arenas.
The Syrian top diplomat has concluded a five-day visit to the People’s Republic of China during which he held talks with Chinese officials on bilateral ties, developments in Syria and issues of common interest.
