Authorities find weapons left behind terrorists in Quneitra and Eeir Ezzor

Quneitra – Authorities discovered a weapon and ammunition cache left behind terrorists in al-Shahar area in Jebbat al-Khashab village in the countryside of Quneitra Province, SANA said.

Deir Ezzor – While canvassing liberated villages in Deir Ezzor, the authorities found a cache of weapons and ammo left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in the town of Baqares Tahtani in the province’s southeastern countryside.

SANA said the weapons and ammo were buried beneath a building that Daesh terrorists had rigged with explosives, and that engineering units dismantled and removed the explosives.

The caches contained 12.7 mm machineguns, mortar rounds of various sizes, 23mm artillery rounds, machinegun rounds, IEDs, and improvised shells.
