Russian MoD: Russian air force repels terrorist attack on Hmeimim airbase

Moscow – Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Hmeimim air base defenses repelled terrorist attack on Hmeimim base in Lattakia countryside, SANA reported.

The ministry added that multiple launch rocket system belonging to “Jabhat al-Nusra” in Idleb province, from which terrorists targeted the airbase, were monitored and destroyed by Russian Aerospace Forces.
