Syrian army kill dozens of terrorists outside Damascus and Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Intense fighting reportedly flared up on Sunday between units of armed forces and foreign-backed terrorist groups in several areas in Syria whilst army shelling targeted hideouts of terrorists in other sites.

Outside Damascus, unknown numbers of terrorists were eliminated in operations carried out by units of armed forces in Jobar, Barzeh al-Balad, Harasta, al-Shefoneyeh, al-Rihab, and Hermleh and Qedsaya areas.

Non-Syrian terrorists are among the killed ones.

It was also reported that dozens of terrorists’ hideouts were shelled in Dyabeyeh, Hajjera, and Darayya in Damascus countryside and other areas in Aleppo, Homs, Der Ezzour, and Raqqa provinces.

Meanwhile, several attempts to infiltrate from Lebanon into Syria through tal Kalkh area in Homs countryside were foiled.

The armed forces also repelled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into abo al-Dohor airport In Idleb countryside.

In separate incident, terrorists fired mortar shells on al-Abaseyen area in Damascus leaving several citizens wounded and serious damages at the scene.   

Syria is in a state of war and its army fights terrorists, who are supported by the US, Britain, France, Qatar, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
