Participants in Syrian Clans Forum in Daraa Reiterate National Cohesion in Defense of Syria’s Unity, Sovereignty

DARAA, (ST)- Participants in the Syrian Clans Forum in Daraa have stressed their national cohesion in the battle to preserve Syria’s unity and affirmed their adherence to national principles and to the Syrian state’s sovereignty over the entire Syrian territory.

Concluding the forum, the Participants, who came from different Syrian governments as well as from Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine, issued a statement in which they hailed the great sacrifices offered by the Syrian Arab Army to protect the homeland, reiterating their rallying behind the leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad and their support for the Syrian army to complete its battle in defense of existence and dignity.

  The statement pointed out that the honest people of Daraa province announce that they support dialogue as a Syrian national option, urging all forces to work as to serve the higher interest of the Syrians, to support reconstructing and activating damaged institutions and to ensure that weapons will be at the hands of only the Syrian Arab army.
