Syrian army target hideouts of terrorists in Daraa and outside capital

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces carried out on Saturday a series of qualitative operations against  foreign-backed terrorist groupings outside Damascus, Daraa, Homs and Hama provinces.

The operations resulted in killing and injuring unknown number of terrorists, some of them affiliate to al-Nusra Front.

In Damascus countryside, the armed forces targeted hideouts of terrorists in Adra, Zamalka, Barzeh, Harmaleh, al-Shefoneyeh areas.

While in Homs, the armed forces foiled a terrorist group’s bid to sneak into Homs citadel from Bab Seba’a and eliminated most of the group’s members.

Moving towards the country’s south, it was reported that clashes broke out between armed forces and terrorists in several villages in Daraa.

The Syrian al- ikhbaria TV Channel’s reporter said” several terrorists were killed in the clashes. In addition, the armed forces repelled a terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate into Syria from Jordan. The group’s members were either killed or injured.”

Syria is in a state of war and its army fights terrorists, who are supported by the US, Britain, France, Qatar, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
