More Displaced Syrians Return Home from Refugee Camps in Jordan

DARAA, (ST)- More displaced Syrians staying in refugee camps in Jordan have returned home through Naseeb Jaber border crossing.

SANA reporter in Daraa said that Naseeb Jaber crossing witnessed on Tuesday the return of a new batch of displaced Syrians from al-Azraq refugee camp in Jordan to their original towns and villages which were liberated from terrorism by the Syrian Arab army.

The returnees were provided all basic services at the crossing, added the reporter.

Head of the Immigration and Passports Center at Naseeb Crossing told SANA that the number of the displaced citizens who have returned home has so far reached 17800, pointing out that concerned parties in Daraa Governorate have ensured a bus and a truck to transfer the displaced citizens and their belongings to their areas.

The returnees expressed their happiness over returning home after six years of displacement because of terrorism. They said that they were eagerly looking forward to returning home, pointing out that they suffered very difficult circumstances in the camps.

They thanked the Syrian Arab army for helping them return home after liberating their villages and towns.

Thanks to government facilitations, Naseeb crossing has been witnessing, over the past months, active return of displaced Syrian citizens coming from refugee camps in Jordan.
