9 citizens martyred, 29 wounded by 3 terrorist attacks

PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 9 citizens have been martyred and 29 others wounded in three terrorist attacks targeted countryside of Damascus and Lattakia.

A source at Police Leadership told SANA that a mortar shell landed today (Tuesday) near schools in Jaramana district in Damascus countryside causing martyrdom of 7 citizens and wounding other 25 ones, including a child.

It added that the terrorists fired another shell landed before Municipality building in the same district leaving serious damages at the scene.

Meanwhile, a citizen has been martyred and 4 others wounded by a rocket landed on a house in Slenfe town in Lattakia countryside.

An official source at the province said the rocket was launched by terrorists from north area in Lattakia countryside and caused casualties plus serious damages at the scene.

However, the third terrorist attack targeted Director of Training and Rehabilitation in Electricity Ministry in Baramke area in Damascus.

Eng. Mohammad Abdulwahab was martyred when an explosive device, which was attached to his car, blasted.
