In Damascus, thousands of professors and students from Damascus University gathered in front of UN office in protest against Trump’s declaration.

In Quneitra province, protests were held in al-Baath city and al-Rufaid town and the surrounding villages to express rejection of Trump’s declaration.

Participants in the protests affirmed that the Golan is a Syrian Arab land and that Trump’s declaration is illegitimate and it doesn’t change historical facts.

Meanwhile, Syrian citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan condemned Trump’s proclamation about Golan.

They staged a sit-in at the martyrs square in Majdal Shams.

Participants in the sit-in called for respecting international resolutions, issued by UN General Assembly, Security Council and Human rights Council which all affirm that Golan is an Arab Syrian territory and the occupation’s procedures there are null and void.

Meanwhile, farmers in Lattakia province held a protest in denunciation of Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.

In Sweida province’s southwestern countryside, popular activities organized a similar protest in condemnation of Trump’s declaration.

Participants gathered near the Martyrs’ Memorial, expressing condemnation of Trump’s void declaration, affirming that the Golan will return to the homeland despite of all the hostile conspiracies and schemes and the unjust Zionist practices.

In Homs province, another protest was organized in al-Bayyada neighborhood.

Participants asserted that the Golan is a Syrian territory, calling upon the international community and the Security Council to take a decision that would stop the US recklessness which contradicts the international conventions and laws.
