Homs First Tourism Cultural Festival Kicks on 4 April

Damascus, (ST)- In a message to the whole world that Syria has achieved victory over terrorism and restored security and stability, Syria is determined to restore its glory and show the archaeological and tourist attractions in the province, Homs Governorate. This step is taken in cooperation with the Directorates of Tourism and Culture and with the participation of distinguished civil activities, to hold the first Tourism Cultural Festival of Homs between the 4th and 10th of April.

The seven-day festival includes cultural, artistic and tourist events, where an exhibition of optical picture, artistic concerts and an open program including carnivals and various artistic performances will be carried out. An entertainment program will also be held for the children of martyrs and the wounded children.

The festival’s program also includes the opening of Subhi Sho’aib Fine Art Gallery. A youth march for the archeological sites in Homs, and a three-day cultural symposium, organized by Homs Engineers’ Union, on Homs cultural and archeological sites will also be carried out within the frame work of the festival.
