Protests Continue in Syrian Provinces in Condemnation of Trump’s Golan Declaration

PROVINCES- Popular activities on Monday continued to organize stands in protest against US President Donald Trump’s proclamation on the occupied Syrian Golan.

In Qamishli, al-Shaab Party organized a protest in front of the Arab Cultural Center in denunciation of Trump’s decision on the Golan and in solidarity with the steadfast people in the Golan.

Participants in the event raised banners which affirm that the occupied Golan is a Syrian Arab land, affirming that Trump’s declaration violates the international laws and legitimacy.

 

Meanwhile, popular and civil activities in Quneitra Province held a protest in the town of Jibbat al-Khashab and the surrounding villages in denunciation of Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.

Participants in the protest, held in front of the municipality building, raised national flags and banners which affirm the Arabism of the occupied Golan.

In Sweida, civil activities and parties organized a stand in rejection of US President’s proclamation on the occupied Syrian Golan.

Participants in the stand, which was held before the building of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Branch, expressed condemnation of Trump’s void declaration which contradicts with the international conventions and laws.

They affirmed that Trump’s declaration will not change the fact that the Golan is a Syrian Arab land.

In Deir Ezzor, Awqaf (Islamic Endowments)  Directorate held a stand in condemnation of Trump’s declaration on the Golan.

Participants in the stand affirmed that Trump’s proclamation contradicts with the international legitimacy and the resolutions of the UN and the Security Council.

They asserted the right of the Syrian people in restoring the occupied Syrian Golan.

In Damascus Countryside, a stand in was held in Deir Attyieh in denunciation of Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.
