Blind Bias

From the very beginning of his elections campaign four years ago, US President Donald Trump has given the Zionist agenda top priority in an attempt to gain the full support of the Zionist lobby in the US. Immediately after his election, Trump began to implement the instructions of the Zionist lobby issuing provocative statements and taking offensive decisions  against the Arabs and Muslims. Trump’s first notorious act in the Middle East was offering unlimited support to the takfiri terrorist groups operating in Syria and Iraq, especially ISIS which carried out criminal and terrorist operations in both countries including several chemical attacks against innocent people with the aim of accusing Syrian army and government of carrying out these attacks. But Trump’s sinister attempts were doomed failure because the Syrian government presented a lot of evidence proving that the ISIS and other takfiri terrorist groups were responsible for such criminal attacks. Trump has continued to offer limitless logistic and financial support to terrorist groups operating in Syria with the aim of  prolonging the Syrian crisis and destabilizing the country, especially in the aftermath of the great and landslide victories realized by the Syrian Arab army and uprooting  terrorism from vast areas of the Syrian territories.

Trump’s support of  terrorist groups coincided with a sinister decision, namely the US  decision to recognize occupied Jerusalem as capital of the Israeli occupation entity and to move its embassy to it. This decision  constitutes a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and the resolutions of the international legitimacy, a desecration of the national and historical rights of the Palestinian people, and a clear attempt to liquidate the Palestinian Cause.

Trump went on in his hostile policy against Arab people through his  irresponsible statements regarding the occupied Syrian Golan which  confirms the US blind bias to the Zionist occupation entity.

The US stance towards the occupied Syrian Golan clearly reflects its disdain for international legitimacy and its blatant violation of  UN resolutions, especially UNSC Resolution No. 497 of 1981, which categorically rejects the decision of the Israeli occupation government to annex the occupied Golan and its arbitrary measures regarding it considering these measures as  null, void and with no legal effect.

It is clear to the whole world that the US with its reckless policy governed by a mentality of domination and arrogance has become a main factor for tension at the international arena that is threatening the international peace and stability, which requires a serious stance by the world to put an end to the US arrogance and to reconsider the international legitimacy as well as to preserve peace, security and stability in the world.

The US president’s statements and his administration on the occupied Syrian Golan will never change the fact that the Golan was and will always be a Syrian Arab territory and that the Syrian people are more determined to liberate it by all possible means.

Trump’s statements on the occupied Syrian Golan may considerably destabilize the already strained situation in the Middle East. It is clear to the whole world that the US is the main factor of tension and destabilization in the Middle East, because of the US thoughtless and irresponsible policies and blind bias to the Zionist occupation paying no heed to the UN resolutions and the international legitimacy.

The occupied Syrian Golan is an integral part of Syria’s territories, and regaining it from Israeli occupation by all the means guaranteed by international law is a priority in Syria’s national policy.

Restoring the occupied Syrian Golan is a non-negotiable right that does not have a statute of limitations, and the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Golan up to the June 4th 1967 border line must be implemented. No one can discuss this issue. The people of the occupied Syrian Golan have always affirmed that their land is an integral part of Syria and confirmed their adherence to their  motherland Syria, its people and leadership.

US President Donald Trump tweeted about the occupied Syrian Golan, expressing his administration’s scorn for the international community and the UN which represents it, and the Security Council resolutions which formed for many decades the basis of international legitimacy. Trump should realize well that neither he nor any other person in the world can prevent the Syrian people from restoring the occupied Golan by all possible means. Trump and his ilk should also see the strong determination of the Syrian people in occupied Golan and their total rejection of his provocative and irresponsible statements. Scores of people gathered  in the square of Majdal Chams and other areas  to condemn these statement and  affirm their commitment to their homeland Syria, asserting that the Golan will return to Syria’s sovereignty.
