Iran’s Jaberi Ansari Holds Separate Talks with Russian, Chinese and German Delegates on Crisis in Syria

TEHRAN, (ST)- Hussein Jaber Ansari, Assistant to the Iranian Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, held separate talks in Tehran with Russian, Chinese and German delegates on the latest developments in Syria, mainly in the fight against terrorism.

A statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Ansari held separate talks at the ministry’s headquarters with the Russian President’s Special Envoy Alexander Lavrentiev, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong and the Director-General of Regional Political Affairs at the German Foreign Ministry Philipp Ackermann. The talks dealt with different issues relating to  the crisis in Syria, most important of which are the fight against terrorism, the return of displaced Syrians to their original residence places and the reconstruction process.
