Lavrov Visits Riyadh, Stresses Need to Solve Crisis in Syria according to Resolution No.2254

RIYADH-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov underlined on Monday the importance of the political solution to the crisis in Syria according to UNSC resolution No.2254.

According to SANA, Lavrov, during a press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Saudi regime Adel al-Gubeir in Riyadh, said that Russia will not retreat from its method to implement resolution No.2254 on Syria and launch a political process led by the Syrians themselves.

 Resolution No. 2254, adopted unanimously by Security Council, affirms that the Syrians are the only ones who determine the future of their country.
