ANKARA, (ST)- Leader of Turkey’s opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has stressed that President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan is responsible for the continuity of the terrorist war on Syria through his support for terrorist organizations and through facilitating the flow of terrorists into Syria.
In a statement on Monday, Kılıcdaroglu said “Erdogan is directly or indirectly responsible for tens of thousands of civilian casualties in Syria”.
Erdogan’s Policies Failed, Full of Contradictions
He reiterated that “Erdogan’s policies are completely failed and full of contradictions”.
He also accused the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of running unsuccessful economic policies that created a crisis.
“They have been seeking to find out who will bear the responsibility of the crisis. Foreign powers, the CHP, the shopkeepers, they said! They even pointed to the terrorists. But actually it is those people who have been ruling the country for 17 years who should be held responsible for the economic crisis,” Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said at a party meeting in Istanbul on Feb. 25.
“We are now in the middle of the crisis. The crisis has hit the real sector very recently. Unemployment will increase,” he added.
He affirmed that Erdogan’s internal and foreign policies have led Turkey to an impasse which won’t end unless this anti-democracy and anti-human rights regime leaves power.
