Army targets al-Nusra terrorists’ positions in Idleb and Hama

Idleb – Syrian Arab Army units on Friday responded to terrorist organizations’ breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement by targeting their positions with intensive strikes in the southeastern countryside of Idleb and the northwestern countryside of Hama.

SANA said that army units launched a barrage of rockets on dens, ammunition caches, and command centers of Jabhat al-Nusra and groups affiliated to it at the eastern outskirts of Saraqeb city in Idleb’s southern countryside.

Several dens and command centers were destroyed as a result of the strikes, while a number of terrorists were killed or injured and their weapons and vehicles were destroyed, SANA added.

Meanwhile, near the administrative borders of Idleb’s southern countryside, an army unit destroyed with a rocket barrage a command center for al-Nusra terrorists west of Kafr Nabouda town northwest of Hama city, killing Mohammad Yousef, one of the terrorists’ leaders.

Later, SANA said that army units destroyed an armored vehicle used by “al-Izza Brigades” terror group near al-Latamneh in Hama’s northern countryside, resulting in killing Hisham Abdulkarim Mustafa, one of the group’s leaders, and two other terrorists including Mohammad Munir al-Mahmoud, in addition to injuring to other terrorists.
