Army carries out operations against terrorists in Idleb and Hama

Idleb/Hama – Army units in Hama responded to the breaches of the terrorist organizations of the de-escalation zone agreement, inflicting heavy losses upon their members in southern Idleb and northwestern Hama.

SANA said an army unit hit positions and fortifications of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups on the outskirts of Khan Sheikhoun town in the southern countryside of Idleb in response to their infiltration attempts towards military points and safe areas in the northern countryside of Hama.

The army also foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempts from the direction of the surrounding of al-Skeik town, east of Khan Sheikhoun, towards liberated areas in the southeastern countryside of Idleb.

In the far northeast of Hama, army units responded to infiltration attempts by terrorist groups affiliated to the “Turkistan Party” from al-Huweiz and al-Huweijeh towns on the eastern outskirts of al-Ghab Plain towards military points in the area, forcing them to retreat.
