US-Led Coalition’s Airstrikes Hit Camp Containing Frightened Civilians.. More than 70 Killed or Wounded

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- The illegal US-led coalition, established allegedly to fight Daesh without the approval of the Security Council, shelled on Tuesday al-Baghouz town in Deir Ezzor countryside, killing and wounding tens of civilians, mostly women and children.

Local sources told SANA reporter that more than 70 civilians, most of them women and children, were martyred and injured in airstrikes conducted by the so-called international coalition led by the United States against al-Baghouz town.

The sources made it clear that the airstrikes targeted a camp containing hundreds of civilians who fled the coalition’s shelling and Daesh terrorism.

The death toll may rise because of the serious injuries of some of victims and because of the difficulty of moving victims to hospital as a result of the shelling, the sources said.

The new massacre comes only hours after the warplanes of the US-led coalition conducted airstrikes against al-Baghouz town in which 24 civilians were martyred, most of them were children.
