Army delivers decisive blow to terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_ Syrian Arab Army delivers a knockout blow to foreign-backed terrorists in al-Qasir countryside in Homs Province.

The army has started military decisive operations through “pincer movement” in al-Qsir city after imposing full control over al-Radwaneya town, which is a strategic site, to cut off supplies to armed groups from Lebanon, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV. Channel reported today.

It added that two other towns- Saqraja and Ein al-Tannor- are now under full control of the army.

In this context, SANA quoted an official source as saying that stability and security have been restored to al-Sakmaneya, Qadish, al-Mansoreya, al-Radwaneya, al-Sa’adeya, Saqraja, and al-Borhaneya.

As many as 100 terrorists were killed in an ambush near al-Dab’a airport in Homs countryside, according to Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper.

Meanwhile, units of armed forces shelled terrorists’ hideouts in several sites in countryside of Idleb and Hama, and Homs.

Unknown numbers of terrorists were killed in the shelling.

In the capital’s west, units of armed forces continues carrying out operations against armed groups in al-Meadameya, Darayya and Jdedet al-Fadel areas, al-Watan newspaper reported.

As for situation in Aleppo province, well informed sources told the paper that the road, which leads to International Aleppo Airport through al-Ramosa area, will be cleansed from terrorists in a few days.

Syria is in a state of war and its army is doing its duty as regard defending homeland and citizens, and fighting terrorist groups to restore stability and security across the country.

The terrorist groups, who are exported from 40 countries, perpetrate heinous crimes against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are funded and supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and the US.
