Terrorist Car Bomb Explosion in Lattakia, a Civilian Martyred, 14 Others Injured

LATTAKIA, (ST)-  A Civilian was martyred and 14 others were injured on Tuesday in a terrorist car bomb explosion that targeted al-Hamam Square in Lattakia.

Head of Lattakia Health Directorate Houzan Makhlouf confirmed the news, saying that the explosion led to the martyrdom of a civilian and the injury of 14 others. Ambulences took the body of the martyr and transferred the injured people to the hospital for treatment, he said.

SANA reporter said that the car was a Suzuki, pointing out that the competent authorities dismantled another explosive device in the same area before it is detonated.
