Damascus – SANA said that the explosion which took place in the area of the Southern Highway on the southern outskirts of Damascus was due to the blast of an explosive device and no fatalities were reported.
SANA added that there is confirmed information on arresting a terrorist after the explosion.
Earlier on Sunday morning, an explosion was heard in the area of the Southern Highway in the surroundings of Damascus City.
