No Fly Zone Over any Part of Syria-NATO Chief

BRUSSELS,(ST)_NATO ‘s Secretary General  Fogh Rasmussen, said that NATO does not  plan to impose a no-fly zone over any part of the Syrian territory to secure Turkey , ruling out  a change in attitude toward Syria, and   that the  solution  is only political.  

Rasmussen said at his monthly press conference on  Friday, as reported by (Russia Today)on line:  ” NATO mission in Turkey aimed at securing the population from  possible missile attack from inside Syria and for that  our Patriot systems were deployed  there,” stressing that “NATO has  no  other plans but in the event of escalation of the situation, securing our “ally” is part of our commitments as a  military alliance. “
