Syria Will Inevitably Triumph in Its War on Terrorism: Cuban-Syrian Friendship Group

HAVANA, (ST)- Deputy Head of the Parliamentary group for the Cuban-Syrian Friendship Santiago Badia has stressed that Syria will inevitably triumph in its war on terrorism, hailing the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the sacrifices of the Syrian army in the confrontation of the conspiracy that has been targeting the Syrian state.

 During his meeting with Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Idris Mayya, Badia renewed his country’s rejection to any foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs, affirming the importance of boosting parliamentary ties between the two countries.

 On his part, Mayya reiterated the need to enhance cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and to reactivate the work of the friendship societies in the service of the interests of the peoples of the two friendly countries.
