Al-Halqi inaugurates services projects in Tartous province

TARTOUS,(ST)_Prime Minister, Dr.Wael al-Halqi, inaugurated on Wednesday services and economic projects in Tartous province on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Independence Day.

The projects of the total coast SP1.855 billion were inaugurated under patronage of President Bashar al-Assad.

“The Premier inaugurated a solid waste treatment facility, a complex for restoring and producing tobacco in Wadi al-Hede area, branch of Tishreen University, and Tourism Faculty,” according to SANA.

The facility’s coast reached up to SP1.4 billion and it will ensure 250 job opportunities. It will treat 360 tons in two shifts.

However, the coast of the complex for restoring and producing tobacco estimated SP455 million.

“There are 14 solid waste treatment facilities in all provinces of the coast SP22billion,” al-Halqi told reporters, asserting the government’s keenness on completing all projects across Syria as soon as possible. 

He added that today- inaugurated projects prove continuity of construction process, stressing that the Syrian people will achieve the great victory over terrorists.

On the other hand, the PM inspected headquarters of Medicine Faculty established under the 2013 decree No.136, which stipulates for establishing the 2nd Medicine faculty in Tishreen University.

Following the inspection visit, al-Halqi met popular, economic and social delegation representing Tartous province.

The talks revolved around political and economic situation in the homeland.
