DAMASCUS-Participants in the meetings of the General Secretariat of Arab Journalists Federation called for halting the media siege and the sanctions imposed on the Syrian media institutions, according to SANA.
The Arab Journalists, in a communiqué concluding their meetings in Damascus, hailed the victories of the Syrian people over terrorism, welcoming Syria’s access to the membership of the International Federation.
They called on some Arab media institutions to boost the language of constructive dialogue and stop the course of violence, hatred and extremism as well as taking a series of procedures to develop the work of the Arab Federation.
The participants reviewed the Israeli attacks and crimes against the Palestinian people, the latest of which was the aggression on the two delegations of the Arab and International Journalists’ Federations at the gate of Jerusalem city.
