Army thwarts infiltration attempt by terrorists in Hama countryside

Hama – Units of the Syrian Arab Army thwarted infiltration attempts of terrorist groups towards military points in Hama northern countryside on the outskirts of the demilitarized area.

SANA said that an army unit thwarted an attempt by a terrorist group to infiltrate from Latamineh town, 35 km north of Hama city, towards the military points in al-Zalaqiyat area to the southwestern of the town.

The army unit targeted the terrorist groups with appropriate weapons, killing and injuring most of them, while the others fled towards the town, SANA indicated.

SANA said that an army unit carried out artillery strikes against the terrorist groups’ positions in Tal al-Sakhir, about 30 km northwest of Hama city, killing and injuring many of them.
