Bogdanov, Haddad Discuss Situation in Syria

MOSCOW– Russian president’s special envoy for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with Riyad Haddad, Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow the situation in Syria and the return of the displaced Syrians to their country, SANA reported.

According to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the two sides exchanged viewpoints about developments of the situation in and around Syria, including the formation of the Constitutional Committee and the return of displaced Syrians to their homeland.

 The meeting also paid special attention to issues related to further development of Syrian-Russian cooperation.
