Weapons and munitions from terrorists’ remnants found in Daraa and Quneitra countryside

Daraa-Quneitra – The component authorities found large amounts of weapons, shells, and vehicles, some of which are Israeli-made left behind by terrorists in areas liberated in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.

A field commander told SANA that large amounts of weapons, ammos, and heavy and medium shells hidden inside caches underground were uncovered during the army units’ sweeping operations in the liberated villages in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.

The commander said that the uncovered weapons included shoulder-fired missiles, Israeli–made rockets , local-made rocket launchers, 23mm heavy machineguns, 120 mm mortar launchers, explosive tank shells, large amounts of munitions, rifles, PKCs machineguns , 12,7mm munitions as well as RPGs Israeli-made and Israeli-made cars.

Protective equipment, telecommunication devices, rocket and machineguns –launching-pads, night vision binoculars, anti-tank weapons were also found among the weapons and ammos, the commander added.
