Palestinians Hold Massive March of Return amid Threats

The 30th week of Marches of Return along the Gaza Strip’s borders with the occupied Palestinian territories was held with massive presence of Palestinians while the Zionist army increased its troops and equipment around the Gaza Strip.

Furious and persistent Palestinians, who are spending their lives for 12 years in the Israeli regime severe siege in Gaza, have suffered three wars over the course of the recent years and face sanctions from all sides again.

Despite the fact that the Zionist army had intensified its presence along the border with Gaza, given the possibility of military tensions with the Gaza Strip, over 10,000 Palestinians living in Gaza raged for the thirty consecutive weeks, came together along the border obstacles with the occupied territories.

Regardless of the growing threats of the Zionist regime along the border, Palestinian children fired dozens of tires and stood empty-handed against the enemy’s snipers and Israeli tanks, and chanted slogans against the occupying Zionist policies and continued the siege of the Gaza Strip and emphasized the right to return to their lands.

The Israelis have stated that the distance of 300 meters of the fence boundary is the forbidden area, and severely deal with any person close to the border. Also, with the possibility of military tensions and clashes with Palestinians in the aftermath of firing a rocket from Gaza to the occupied southern Palestinian territories, the occupation army on Thursday had increased its armored forces and combat vehicles around Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also claimed he was “confronting” the Palestinians.
