Macron: Walking out of JCPOA will Be Fruitless

French President Emmanuel Macron says walking out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with Iran will be fruitless for the West, IRNA reported.

According to R.F.I radio in France, Macron said in an exclusive interview with the international radio station on Sunday that Paris is at odds with Washington on how to deal with Iran on the JCPOA.

‘We always did our best to urge Iran to stay in the accord as it’s walk out will be fruitless for us,’ he said.

Once again I underline that withdrawing from the JCPOA will not be useful but will lead to serious dangers in the Middle East region, he said.

From early days of my presidency I have underlined that Iran’s issue should be resolved through political means and withdrawing from the JCPOA will not resolve the issue, he said.
