Armenia Seeks Boosting Cooperation with Syria

DAMASCUS-Armenian Ambassador in Damascus Arshak Poladian said on Sunday that his country seeks boosting cooperation with Syria mainly in the reconstruction process, particularly after the restoration of security and stability in Syria, according to SANA.

 Poladian, speaking to SANA on the 27th anniversary of Armenia Independence Day, added that the historical relations between Syria and Armenia have paved the way for deepening cooperation after Armenia independence in the 90th decade of the last century.

The Syrian-Armenian relations have been built on mutual understanding and unified stances towards different political issues.

Bilateral ties have witnessed remarkable development in all fields through signing nearly 60 agreements and memos of understanding.
