CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL COOKIES

Ingredients:

  1. 2 Cups of oat meal
  2. 2 Cups of flour
  3. 1 Tea spoon of baking powder
  4. 1 Tea spoon of baking soda
  5. 200 Grams Butter
  6. 2 Eggs
  7. 1 Tea spoon of vanilla extract
  8. 1 Cup of brown sugar
  9. 3 Table spoons of white sugar
  10. 1 Cup of chocolate chips
  11. ½ Cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
  12. Pinch of salt

 

Preparation:

• Mix together oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and set aside.

• Using an electric mixer, mix together butter, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.

• Add the flour-oat meal mixture and mix well.

• Add the chocolate chips and walnuts and mix well using a spoon so that the chocolate chips don’t break.

• Arrange on non-stick oven tray and bake for 8 minutes

 

SPECIAL TIPS:

• Make sure you have enough space between cookies when you arrange them on the non-stick oven tray before baking.

• You can use an ice cream scooper to shape the cookies into identical sized cookies
