Sabbagh, Khajimba discuss parliamentary cooperation

DAMASCUS- Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh discussed on Thursday with President of Abkhazia Republic Raul Khajimba means of strengthening parliamentary relations between the two countries, SANA reported.

The Speaker pointed out to the importance of developing the parliamentary ties between the two countries, including establishing a parliamentary friendship association to exchange expertise.

 He affirmed that Syria will continue to combat terrorism, implement local reconciliations, and facilitate the return of displaced Syrians.

In turn, Khajimba said that the Abkhazian officials will work to bolster bilateral relations with Syria.
