Damascus Hosts the 2nd Forum for Syrian-Russian Businessmen in DIF

Damascus- With the participation of 70 Russian companies, the 2nd Forum for Syrian-Russian Businessmen to be held in Damascus during the second day of the Damascus International Fair to be organized next September.

The participants in the forum will discuss investment opportunities, trade and tourism in Syria, especially in the reconstruction phase, according to chairman of the Syrian-Russian Businessmen Council, Samir Hassan.

Mr. Hassan underlined the importance of holding the forum during the Damascus International Fair, which is devoted to the Syrian-Russian cooperation strategy and opens the way for the development of trade and economic relations in various sectors of industry, construction, tourism, energy and services.

 “The forum is an opportunity to discuss the difficulties in the ways of cooperation and work to resolve and address them,” Hassan added.

The number of countries confirmed to participate in the 60th session of the DIF reached 48 countries through official partnerships or agents and commercial participation is expected to increase the number according to the managers of the exhibition.
