More than 30 Civilians Martyred in New US-Led Coalition’s Massacre in Syria’s Boukmal Countryside

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- More than 30 civilians were martyred, tens others were wounded and several houses were destroyed in airstrikes carried out at midnight by the US-led Coalition against civilians’ houses in al-Boukmal countryside in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor.

Local sources told SANA correspondent that the towns of al-Baghouz Fouani and al-Sousa at the eastern bank of the Euphrates in the countryside of al-Boukmal city, were exposed to violent bombardment by the warplanes of the illegal “American coalition”. The shelling caused the martyrdom of more than 30 civilians and wounded tens others most of them were women and children, the sources added.

The number of martyrs may rise given the critical conditions of many injured persons and the difficulty of evacuating them from under the rubbles due to the incessant shelling against the two towns, according to the sources.

The coalition’s new aggression also caused huge destruction in the two towns, the sources said, clarifying that tens of houses collapsed over the heads of their residents.

The sources pointed out that the coalition’s claims that its airstrikes were targeting Daesh were nothing but lies because these acts of aggression aimed at putting pressure on the locals who has rejected the entry of the militias of the Washington-backed Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) to their towns.

Since its establishment in 2014, the illegal US-led coalition has committed tens of massacres against the Syrians by targeting residential areas and infrastructure in Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and Hasaka.
