Military Source: Syrian Air Defenses Repel Israeli Aggression on T4 Airbase, Down Several Missiles, Hit a Jet

HOMS, (ST)- The Syrian air defenses have repelled an Israeli aggression on the T4 Airbase in Homs eastern countryside and managed to down several missiles and hit one of the attacking jets, a military source said on Sunday, adding that the defenses forced other warplanes to leave the airspace.

 The new Israeli aggression comes as the terrorists in Daraa in the south of Syria are suffering successive defeats in the large scale military operation the Syrian Arab army has been carrying out against terrorist groups in the area over the past 15 days.

The army operations have resulted in the liberation of tens of towns and villages. In addition armed groups in other areas were forced to surrender and hand over their weapons and ammunition.

The Israeli enemy interfered several times to support its terrorist tools in Syria to raise their collapsed morale because of their successive defeats under the strikes of the Syrian Arab army.

Tens of intelligence and on the ground news reports confirm the close link and open coordination between the terrorist organizations in Syria and the Israeli enemy. Besides, Many Israeli weapons were found inside terrorists’ hideouts in several areas, the latest of which was Jobar in eastern Ghouta.
