Some 60 Companies Take Part in the “Food Expo” Exhibition

Damascus- Activities of the Food Expo Exhibition at its 14th session launched here that was organized by the Delta Economic and Business Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry with the participation of more than some 60 specialized companies on the grounds of the Fairs City.

“The exhibition will contribute to the development of trade and exchange of experiences among exhibiting companies, as well as the opening of new markets for the Syrian product and the expansion of export operations,”

said Ghayath Shamma, head of the organizing group of the exhibition. He expressed his hope that the exhibition will achieve the desired objectives after its previous sessions which achieved remarkable successes for the investor, the trader and the consumer and several commercial deals were signed.

Regional Sales Manager for Delta, Alaa Darwish, said that the exhibition is an area for introducing Syrian products and their quality and a window of communication between companies, businessmen and the local and foreign markets.

Director General of the General Establishment for Food Industries, Eng. Nassif Al-Asaad, said that the exhibition is a step that confirms the continuation of work despite all the circumstances. He pointed out that most of the factories of the establishment are working with their full production capacity with high specifications and competitive prices.

“The exhibition is a message to all the world that the Syrian product is sustainable and competitive,” Sales Manager of Amanah Foods, said Ali Al Khawandi.

The exhibition will open its doors to visitors until the June 29th.
