Girl martyred, two civilians injured in terrorist attacks on Daraa and Sweida

Provinces – A young girl was martyred and two civilians were injured on Tuesday due to rocket shells fired by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on the northern entrance of Daraa city and its residential neighborhoods.

SANA said that terrorist organizations fired a number of shells on the cars passing by the northern entrance of Daraa city, causing serious injury to a civilian.

 

SANA added that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other affiliated groups positioned in Daraa al-Balad and al-Nazihin Camp neighborhoods fired rocket shells on the neighborhoods of al-Sahara, The airport, Shamal al-Khat and al-Kashef, causing the martyrdom of a girl child, the injury of a person and material damage to some citizens’ houses and properties.

SANA quoted a source at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Daraa branch as saying that a 7-year-old girl was martyred immediately after being admitted to the National Hospital in Daraa due to a rocket shell fell on the Airport neighborhood. A person was also injured in the shelling attack on the neighborhood.

An army unit responded with the appropriate weapons to the areas form which the shells were fired, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist groups.

Terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and the affiliated groups, positioned in Daraa eastern countryside also fired rocket shells on residential neighborhoods in Sweida city and the villages of al-Mjimar and Labin in the western countryside of the province.

SANA said that a number of rocket shells, fired by terrorists positioned in a number of villages and towns in Daraa eastern countryside fell on the neighborhoods of al-Jalaa and al-Estiklal in Sweida city, causing material damage to the citizens’ houses and their properties and to a number of cars.

Terrorists also fired a number of shells on al-Mjimar, its surroundings and Labin, causing only material damage.

Meanwhile, SANA said that terrorists of al-Nusra fired a number of mortar shells on the neighborhoods of al-Baath City, causing material damage to public and private properties.
