More Germans are joining terrorists in Syria in their fight against the Syrian government, Hans-Georg Maassen, the head of Germany’s intelligence service told reporters Sunday.
According to local police, up to 40 German radicals have recently left the country to join the rebels, while 500-700 militants are already in Syria. Their main transit route is Egypt, according to Voice of Russia.
