On al-Quds Day Iranians Declare All- Out Support for Palestinian People

Iranians declared their absolute support for the Palestine people through a resolution at the end of the Quds Day rallies held to mark the day.

In the resolution they reiterated the liberation of the holy city of Quds and the oppressed, defenseless Palestinian people from the occupation of the Zionist regime and efforts to annihilate the regime which they described as a ‘cancerous tumor’  were the goals of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran late Imam Khomeini.

 They also emphasized that they will mobilize all their will and capacities to realize the goals.

They condemned the US step in moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Quds, and recognition of the holy city as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel, calling the liberation of Quds and supporting Palestinians the priorities of the Muslim world.

The Iranian demonstrators denounced the plan introduced by the US President Donald Trump on Palestine known as the Deal of the Century.

Calling it ‘conspiracy’ they declared that the only solution to Palestine issue is the return of Palestinians to their territories and holding a free, inclusive referendum on the fate of the country.

They said Palestine is the key to solidarity of Muslim Ummah and condemned the attempts by some Arab states to reconcile with the Zionist regime.

Referring to the defeat of Takfiri terrorists in Iraq and Syria and failure of the Saudi regime in its aggression on Yemen despite the support of the US and the Zionist regime as examples of achievements made by the resistance front, they emphasized that they reserve the right of retaliation.

The Iranian demonstrators also condemned the US lack of commitment to the nuclear deal and imposing new sanctions on Iran, and called on the country’s government to pursue the instructions and recommendations of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Millions of Iranians took part in the Quds Day rallies throughout the country on Friday to express their solidarity with the Palestinians.
