Information Minister: National Media Confronted the Media War Waged against Syria

HAVANA, (ST)- Information Minister Imad Sara on Wednesday has stressed that the Syrian Arab army’s successive military wins have paved the way for starting the reconstruction process and pushing the political process forward.

During his meeting in Havana with Head of the Department of International Relations at the Cuban Communist Party’s Central Committee Jose Ramon Balaguer, Sara said Syria’s national media has confronted the media war waged against the country since the start of the terrorist aggression against it and has managed to frustrate its goals.

 He hailed the support of friendly media outlets for Syria, noting their role in conveying real image and presenting facts about the situation in Syria to the international public opinion

The Cuban party official reiterated his country’s support for Syria in all fields, mainly in its war on terrorism.

He praised the sacrifices offered by the Syrian army as to eliminate terrorism and abort the conspiracy against Syria.
