Army eliminates terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo – Syrian Arab Army units carried out on Wednesday concentrated operations targeting the positions and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the groups affiliated to them in the western and southwestern countryside of Aleppo province.

SANA said that an army unit, in cooperation with allied forces, killed and injured a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the groups affiliated to them after carrying out precise strikes against their positions in the surroundings of Khirbet Ma’ratah area in the southwestern countryside.

SANA added that the army’s artillery forces targeted a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist gathering in the direction of Jamaiet al-Zahra to the west of Aleppo city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying one of their 4WD vehicles.
