DAMASCUS – Twenty two civilians were injured on Monday in mortar attacks launched by Daesh terrorists from inside al-Hajar al-Aswad, SANA reported.
The shells fell on the vicinity of al-Hajar al-Aswad near Yarmouk Camp while the buses were entering the area to evacuate the terrorists positioned there.
A source at Damascus Police command said that a number of mortar shells, fired by ISIS terrorists, landed on al-Batykha Roundabout on the vicinity of al-Hajar al-Aswad near Yarmouk Camp, wounding a number of civilians with varying injuries.
Fadi al-Abda, from the emergency section at Damascus hospital said that 22 people, injured by shrapnels in different parts of their bodies as a result of the mortar attack on the Batykha roundabout area.
Since the early hours of the morning, buses have gathered near al-Batykha roundabout on the vicinity of the camp, to start the executive procedures of the agreement reached yesterday between the Syrian government and terrorist groups positioned in Yarmouk Camp which stipulates to remove the terrorists from the camp and liberating the besieged people in the towns of Kefraya and al-Fouaa, and the abductees from the town of Eshtabraq.
