FM Condemns In Strongest Terms killing Of prisoner Abu Hamdiya

DAMASCUS,(ST)-“The Foreign and Expatriates Ministry denounces in strongest terms the liquidation of the Palestinian prisoner Maysara abu Hamdiya at Israeli occupation jails as the occupation forces refused to medically treat him despite the deterioration of his health, “said a source at the ministry.

“Syria holds” Israel ” full responsibility for the martyrdom of abu Hamdiya.On this painful occasion, Syria voiced solidarity with the martyr’s family and reiterates solidarity with the Arab Palestinian people only to liberate their lands and regain their legitimate rights, “the source added.

The source underscored that the martyrdom of abu Hamdiya is a fresh crime to be added to Israel’s criminality record which is full of violating international law and human rights in the occupied territories.

“Syria calls on UN to rapidly intervene to put an end to Israel’s grave violations  and calling for exerting special efforts to defend the lives of Syrian and Palestinians and Arab prisoners at the Israeli jails, “underlined the source.

” what Syria is  currently facing of  conspiracies and terrorism with the aim of weakening its national role can’t deviate its compass towards  the main Arab cause ,”concluded the source.
