Beijing – Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized in a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Theresa May on Thursday the need for an impartial investigation into the alleged chemical attack in Douma city in Eastern Ghouta, SANA reported.
Xinhua said that the two sides exchanged views on the situation in Syria, with Xi affirming the need for a comprehensive and objective investigation into the alleged attack.
Both sides also discussed prospects for promoting the joint relations between China and Britain.
