One civilian martyred due to terrorist attacks with shells in Homs

Homs – A civilian was martyred and a two others were injured in a terrorist attack with shells on al-Ashrafia village in the northern countryside of Homs.

SANA said that terrorists positioned in villages and towns in the province northern countryside fired a number of shells on al-Ashrafia village to the north of Homs city, claiming the life of a citizen and causing injuries to a woman and a young girl.

The attack also caused material damage to public and private properties, the reporter added.

A unit of the Syrian Arab Army responded to the attack by targeting with precision strikes the areas from which shells were fired, destroying a number of rocket launchers and fortified positions and inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
