Czech Republic to Carry out Six Humanitarian Projects in Syria

PRAGUE, (ST)- The Czech republic has agreed to carry out six humanitarian projects in Syria valued at USD 1,137 million, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Martin Stropnicky announced in a tweet on Wednesday.

“The Czech republic seeks providing assistance to solve international crises and problems,” the minister said, reiterating that this kind of humanitarian aid is more effective.

 On his part, HHH Head of the Defense Committee at the Czech Parliament for the Czech Pirate Party (Yan Libaviski), stressed that political solution is the only way to solve the crisis in Syria”, pointing out that the Turkish aggression on Afrin leads to more civilian victims and causes the displacement of thousands of people from their houses.
