A Number of Militants Leave Eastern Ghouta via al-Wafedeen Camp Safe Corridor

Damascus Countryside–A number of militants exited Eastern Ghouta on Friday night through al-Wafedeen Camp safe corridor in Damascus Countryside, according to SANA.

SANA’s reporter said that a number of militants arrived at the last point of al-Wafedeen Camp corridor at the outskirts of Ghouta, where a bus was waiting to transport them outside the area.

Earlier, SANA said that information are talking about the exit of 53 persons from al-Ghouta, including 13 militants, across the set safe corridor leading to al-Wafedeen camp.

People in Hammoureya town of Eastern Ghouta held a demonstration on Friday asking the militants to leave and called on the Syrian army to enter the area. The demonstration was held four days after the locals raised the Syrian national flag in the towns of Saqba and Hammoureya.

However, the terrorist groups are still trying to prevent civilians from leaving Ghouta, with the terrorists targeting the safe corridors in al-Wafedeen and Jisreen with shells and explosive bullets.
