US Decision to Move Its Embassy to Al-Quds Reflects Washington’s Disrespect for International Community’s Will

DAMASCUS , (ST)- Syria has condemned in the strongest of terms the US administration’s intention to move its embassy to occupied al-Quds in May on the Nakba Day 70th anniversary, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Sunday.

The US procedure, which is a flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions, clearly reflects the United States’ disrespect of the international community’s will and shows how hypocrite the US stances are when Washington talks about respecting the international community to pass its aggressive policies against other peoples’ interests and issues, the source stressed.

The source went on to say that the US decision again proves the Unites States’ deep enmity and disrespect to the Arab nation and confirms that Washington dedicates its policies to serve the Zionist scheme which seeks hegemony on the region.

The current weak Arab situation and the collusion of some Arab reactionary regimes with the nation’s enemies have created suitable circumstances for making such a shameful US decision, the sources concluded, calling for a united Arab stance in defense of the nation’s existence and interests.
