Afrin Locals Confirm their Belonging to Homeland, Welcome Popular Forces

ALEPPO- Afrin’s locals gathered in the main square of the city on Thursday to confirm their belonging to the homeland and welcome the popular forces’ engagement in confronting the Turkish regime’s continued aggression on Afrin area, SANA reported.

According to SANA reporter, the locals reaffirmed that Afrin area is an integral part of the Syrian territory and they will not allow forces of Erdogan regime and its mercenaries from terrorist groups to desecrate their land, adding that aggressors will be defeated.

Over the past two days, groups of popular forces arrived in Afrin to support the locals against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists and the continued aggression of the Turkish regime.

Turkish regime continues its brutal aggression on Afrin for more than a month, causing the death and injury of hundreds of civilians, the majority of whom are women and children.
